  DU’s campus is easily accessible from I-25, the main route running through the Denver metro area north/south. The campus lies just south and west of the intersection of I-25 and University Blvd.
  To reach University Blvd.

  From the east and Denver International Airport

  • From the airport, take Peña Blvd. to I-70 West (exit to the left) 
  • Take I-70 to I-25 South (Exit 274) 
  • Take I-25 to University Blvd. (Exit 205) 
  • Turn right on University Blvd.

  From the west

  • Take I-70 to 6th Avenue East (Exit 261) 
  • Take 6th Avenue to I-25 South 
  • Take I-25 to University Blvd. (Exit 205) 
  • Turn right on University Blvd.

  From the north and south

  • Take I-25 to University Blvd. (Exit 205) 
  • Turn south on University Blvd.

  From University Blvd.

  • Campus runs along the right-hand (west) side of University Blvd., between Buchtel Blvd. and Harvard Ave.
  • To reach the Sturm College of Law - Ricketson Law Building, turn right (west) on Evans Avenue. Turn right (north) again on Gaylord Street (one block before the pedestrian bridge over Evans) and park under the law building.

  Light Rail Walking Directions to the Law School

  1. Exit the light rail platform and walk south toward the main pedestrian crossing at Buchtel Boulevard.
  2. Cross Buchtel Blvd at the traffic light.
  3. After crossing, turn left briefly and follow the sidewalk past the Cable Center.
  4. Take the brick pedestrian pathway into campus near the grassy area and trees.
  5. Continue past the Ritchie Center toward Asbury Ave., keeping the athletic fields and Art Gallery on your right.
  6. Cross Asbury Avenue, past the parking garage, and walk toward the large building with the clock tower. You've reached the law school's Ricketson Law Building.

  DU Campus Shuttle
  There is also a free Campus Shuttle with a stop at University of Denver Station that operates Mon-Fri 7AM-7PM (Summer and Holiday hours may change). Use the on-demand app to book rides within the expanded community service area.

   

• Bus

  You can reach campus via RTD bus routes

  • Route 21 – Runs east/west from Lakewood to Aurora 
  • Route 24 – Runs north/south along University Blvd. from C-470 to 41st Ave. 
• Parking

  Many members of the Denver Law community park in the garage attached to the building but some also choose to park in surface lots scattered throughout campus. Parking permits are required to park in lots across campus. The closest visitor parking is located under the law building in Lot 321. The only way to access this garage is from the West bound lane of Evans Avenue, and there is a pay kiosk by the elevators that accepts cash or credit cards. 

  The University of Denver is surrounded by residential neighborhoods, so street parking can be scarce and many streets are designated for area residents only. 

  Directions to Visitor Lot 321

  1. From the intersection of S. University Blvd. and E. Evans Ave., go west on Evans using the far right lane.
  2. Before you reach the crosswalk and the pedestrian bridge over Evans, turn right on S. Gaylord St.
  3. Follow the driveway which will take you to the underground parking directly under the law school.
  4. Pay kiosks are located next to the door to the elevator room.
